Thanks Greatscott!
I'm looking forward to getting everything on, hopefully she'll be ready this weekend.
I'll find out how the struts feel when it's all said and done. Good thing it's a simple mod so if I don't want them on, I can always load the springs back on.
I mounted the seat a couple of weeks ago and I love it compared to the stock get up which sucks! I got the seat from Harley Riverside (CA) for almost $200 off. Some older gentleman had bought and rode on it for a day and returned it so they gave me a good deal. I spend a lot there so that probably influenced the decision a bit![Smile](https://www.hdforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
For being forward controls, they aren't nearly as far forward as I'd like, but such is life. I'm way more comfortable with them vs. the mid's that came stock. To each their own I guess.
The pipes must be the de facto standards or something, I echo your sentiment about them being all over the place, especially in a big community like HDF, tons of sporty's with them. I do like them though, and they sound great. Fortunately there aren't many sporty's, especially Nightsters in my area. When these die I'll probably wrap something cool and throw them on, we'll see.
Anyway, thanks again, stay tuned for more pics soon.
