Hi guys. I'm curious (or confused) about this. I don't want to come across as ignorant or maybe I'm not fully "getting it". I see A LOT of people doing the wideglide front fork conversion. Is there an actual form and function to this? I can understand if someone wanted to put a fatty front wheel to get an old classic bobber look like the 48. Otherwise I'm clueless. Does it help the steering any? Is it just for looks? To me I find they look disproportionate as the Sporty has a slim profile already. Doesn't look bad on Dynas since its a big twin bike. Perhaps it looks proportionate because of the width of the fat bobs on the bigger bikes. Now a Buell inverted tubes conversion on a sporty looks killer and the benefit of better suspension and brakes. Awesome!
