Haven't visited the Sportster section of HDForums as I tend to hang out at the Touring section.

My wife has now decided she is keen to give this motorcycling lark a go, and the Sporty seems like a great place for her to start.

Been kicking around numerous options, but most likely are:

New Iron
2007 used 883H

What I would like to understand is what significant changes have been made since 2007? From what I can gather these have been largely superficial and styling, with the ECU being relocated in 2010.

Also, if I rework the engine to 1200 at some stage in the future is all else the same - especially gear ratios, drive ratios etc.
