Default Vented or Non-vented Gas Cap??

This should be an easy question, but I've searched and can't find a definitive answer. (Actually, I've seen definitive answers in BOTH directions.)

Anyway, I am going to buy an aftermarket gas cap (locking) and have to specify vented or non-vented. Which does my '08 Sporty require? (I looked at the Harley parts list too and it doesn't say whether the H-D ones are vented or not.)

You only have one cap, and it is vented. The non-vented cap is for a second cap like on the Fat Bob tank or any other tank that isn't a split tank.
