washed my 91 once , darned thing shrunk..
I usta (21 years ago ) be able to sit on it with just a little sag in the suspension..,Now when I sit on it it almost bottoms out ..

never never wash your sportie..it can shrink !!!!!

Sort of like old leathers you let sit out in the garage for too long. Must be the humidity and the heat that shrinks them.
