Controls will look much better without the lip, you can even go a little further and try to match the radius of the opposite side so they match a little more. There's plenty of meat on those controls that can be taken off. You can see I even knocked off the little hump where the screw goes, it smooths out just fine, no hole. There's still plenty of finishing work to do on these before I'm content.

Got the second one done tonight. Cleaned the brake side up a bit too. They actually turned out half decent. Surprised myself again.

Everything is looking spot on. It's a fun and easy project that's for sure. Wish I could partake in it. I may be home in October. If so, I will have to stop by. You can provide the beer. Haven't been home since 2008.

Got the bars wired up! Soldered the wires straight to the mini switches in the bars. My boy is good! Biltwell throttle installed too. That thing is so dialed. Tank is going back on and I'm gonna try to start this bitch later. Stay tuned. Bypassed the clutch switch and will be installing one of those banjo bolts brake switches soon. Was thinking install it at the brake caliper instead of the hand control. What do you guys think of that? Here's some pics.
