Do the mini switches required to be waterproof? I really have no idea if the stock controls are waterproof too, are they?

Good question. I can see how water can get in the Harley switch pod just as easy though. These switches are tiny. Well, got the right side control done last night. Mostly with my Dremel tool, that worked perfect except for the lip. Yeah I said f-it and went for it. Came out pretty good too. Gonna run em like this until fall then break em down and paint. Hoping to have the other one done tonight and the rest of the wiring on Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Dennis Kirk. I got the Goodridge Single Bleed BL Banjo Bolt - PBL99232CH

and the Goodridge Brake light Banjo Bolt Boot to cover up the red and shiney parts.

use dielectric grease on wire connectors/terminals to keep moisture away

thanks ergo! i'm gonna even try using the orig. brake switch somehow first and see if i can come up with anything.
