thanks ergo. finally got her out last night for a test rip. the brake switch is still sticking a bit but ask me if i care? i just want to ride this thing...BAD! bars feel skinny as **** but i love em. can't wait to get the switches moved so i can chop em in even further.

You about got me convinced to build one of these. Now all I need to do is find a running sporty for 500 bucks like that guy on the other thread

so i'm contemplating cutting my fork boots off. what do yall think? it's really the last piece that at a glance you can tell it's a nighty.

so clean looking....


if i take them off i'm definitely gonna shave my fork lowers too....hmm, another project for fall.

been contemplating same thing myself and almost did it last night... does clean up the front a lot... takes away the retro feel as well. Will see what happens ha

I don't mind them either way. A little differentiation from the CO thing isn't necessarily a bad thing. CO does some killer bikes but it's ashame that they're all becoming copies of the last one with different paint. Chopped 2.2 tank, Deluxe Champs, attack bars, chain conversion, kickup rear fender, and that same damn exhaust system just about every time. I guess because everything is at your fingertips on the net it makes it seem like CO bike are everywhere. When odds are you'd be the only guy withing 500 miles with that style bike.

well there's one other guy i know of in philly that worships at the feet of crazyorange like i do, he's on xlf. his is a 48 tho, fat front....not a big fan. came out really nice tho. ive had a few people now trippin on what i did to it, they can't believe i took a sawzaw and grinder to it but they all seem to agree it looks factory...which means i must have taken my time and didn't rush. nah....lot's of beer before during and after. lol.
