Bmx... You should def do internal wiring on your new bars. It's not that hard dude. I thought it was a fun project myself. Notching out the controls is just a waste IMO.

You need to let Rene know you plan to internally wire if that's what you want to do. Otherwise, there probably won't be a hole in the cross bar to run the wires down the uprights. You can drill the hole out at the controls but once the cross bar is welded in place you can't get in there to drill it out.

^^^thx michael....yeah i told him i want to run them internal so he's gonna drill the crossbar for me, i'll just have to drill around the grips to pull the wires through. word? btw mike, you get my PM?

Yeah, I imagine he'd leave that hole up to you since the location depends on how you want to index your controls. He'll probably also leave the exit hole up to you as well.

I got your PM. I have a better hinge idea...that's the one you'll beta test.

Also might not be a bad idea to see if he can route a small piece of steel cable through the bars. That way when you go to pull your wires through you won't have to worry about struggling to pass a feed line through, it'll already be there.
