thanks. it is a bitch...don't need threads, i can drill a pilot hole and thread them into the studs, they'll bite just as good. however a threaded one would also work just not sure what size the stud is, i'll measure when i get home.

If you try Lowes go to their Hardware department with all the fasteners and crap. Check with the specialty stuff, it'll be in all those slide out drawers, they may have something. If not figure out what the thread sizing is and McMasters should have something that'll work.

If not in a fastener bin, usually they have a section at one end or the other of that same isle with packaged specialty items like this. Found some rubber feet / stand offs for another project one time.

just dropped my lic. plate bracket off at a local chop shop. dudes there are rad. check em out if you're in philly. down to earth, friendly and they get it. i think they're revamping the site but anywho...http://www.schmidtmotorcycleco.com/

theyre prolly gonna weld up my pipes for me too. this things coming together quicker than i thought but not quick enough, it's 75 deg. outside and i can't ride.
