i've done some research on the firestones prior to buying and heard mostly good things about them. i happened to ask mreed last night because i know i've seen him use them before. he said he usually gets 3500-5000mi. out of them depending on how hard he's riding them but went as far as saying that he used them on his daughters first bike for one reason, SAFETY. the tires are a soft compound believe it or not and have tread all the way to the sidewall so i know they should corner pretty well. i'll post my thoughts on this thread once i get out on them but after getting mike's feedback i feel pretty good about them. mike's an hdf gem.....if you're watching, thx michael!

soft compound i'm guessing. i don't do cross country rides, my sporty's a bar hopper, urban assault, city driver (lol) with an occassional ride to my mtn. house in the poconos so they work for me. looking into getting a road king possibly to take the wife on some longer rides, this ones mine to do with whatever the fvck i want!

hahaha i guess so! I've been thinking about that myself. That is, turning my sporty into a solo bobber and getting a bigger harley for touring (two-up). My girl's butthole puckers when I push the sporty in those twisties and she hears the bike scrape. Man do I get an earful after those rides haha!
