Default Your helmet Input

Hey every1,

So basically Ive been riding my Iron for just over a yr and I have a 1/2shell that I usually wear and a Full face modular ( i got free when I bought bike ) that has pretty much become my gf's. I am going on a trip in april and realized I dont have a helmet for the trip, my 1/2 chokes me cuz he catches wind over 60mph and the full face is too damn big and heavy ... I was looking at this

http://www.bikersden.com/p-5045-bell...ull-black.aspx

If you have any info on this helmet or suggestions on other helmets Ide appreciate it

Thanks
Matt

I have a open face Daytona style helmet like the one in your link, also have a half and full, prefer the open face hands down

Unless you have a good wind screen any open face will still catch some wind. A decent full face should not be that heavy..

I always wear a full face, no matter what time of year or what type of bike I'm on.
Check out these

if you really don't want full or modular full check out this one

I suggest going to a couple of shops and trying on helmets before ordering online. Just to make sure you like them. And of course if you find one you like at the store and they will come close to the online prices, just get it there.

I have a fullface which I use when it drops below 60. I have a 1/2 I normally use. But I'm thinking a 3/4 would be better considering the loudness of my exhaust. And wind noise.

HI,
I just received the Lick's Cycle 3/4 Helmet Large and the fit is perfect. It very forms fitting, and close to the head, lightweight. You definitely won't have the bobble look compare to other helmets that I return Bell 500 (forgot the name).
The only problem is unless they have the Helmets it took almost 2 months to get them because they are limited supply special order. Just my two Cents

Sorry, The Bell 500 is very good quality, But it's Huge and Bulky and you will look like Marvin the Martian. It's up to you. I'm only 26 but it's all about looks to me, If i'm going to ride, I'm going to make sure I look good on the bike. lol You never know when you're going to meet a pretty Lady and she might need a ride lol. Sorry lol
If anything i'll try and post pictures of the Helmet tomorrow. If you guys are interested. You won't go wrong with the Licks Helmet. 2 cent.
