I am surprised no one mentioned the Rockhard American Classic. Very comfortable and similar to the licks Novi Dot. I have had no problems with mine lifting at interstate speeds.

I just got this Hawk Dual Visor helmet for winter riding from Leatherup.
Dam nice helmet. Sure makes cold weather riding more comfy.

No helmet used to be my plan.... But my pregnant gf at the time (miscarried) pretty much guilt tripped me into wearing one. You should have seen the look on her face when I first said "no.... the idea is NOT to wreck". lol I instantly went from not wanting to wear one at all to a fullfaced.

Why half *** it? Just my opinion though IDC. Like I said my initial plan was nothing at all. My Mom can now thank my gf, lol.

Thumbs up Open-face helmet

I went top of the line after going through several cheaper open face helmets. I would highly recommend the Arai XC Ram, it's expensive but you get what you pay for - light, quiet and extremely comfortable. It fits almost like a full-face but you have full peripheral vision...

Bought from Revzilla, here's the link. They also had a video of this helmet, I found it very helpful.

I got my helmet Bell 500 Skratch Matte Pinstripe from Rockheadbikes.com and they gave me great pricing. I called them and said that Revzilla was offering $5 back on every $100 spent so they just discounted a 10% off the helmet. They said to tell them what Revzilla offers on the back end and they will just deduct off the price instead of making anyone wait for their $5 per $100 toward their next purchase.
