Those are some slick looking helmets.

I really like this green diesel.

I wear an HJC FS-15 Carbon and my wife has the same helmet rebadged by Joe Rocket. I wear mine all summer long and it's got plenty of ventilation for my needs. Riding without a windshield I much prefer full face helmets, they don't buffet or pull up on my head and they're generally quieter than 1/2 or 3/4 helmets. If you do go down FF protects the areas most likely to suffer impact, although when I went down last year the 1/2 helmet I was wearing did just fine. I launched over the other vehicle and landed directly on my head. Concussion? Oh yeah. Also crushed two discs and chipped three vertebrae but I survived... I wasn't so much before but I'm a big fan of helmets these days.

Those boxer helmets look pretty badass really.

Here are my two new ones:

Without the visor, but with Oakley goggles using QuikStraps.

That Roof Boxer is by far the coolest helmet IMHO, Being able to flip the chin bar all the way around so it can be used as a 3/4 is brilliant. And the Euro safety standards it is made to are tougher then DOT. But seeing as it is neither DOT nor SNELL approved (as it is not officially sold in the US) it is technically illegal in any state that requires a helmet.

I got an HJC RPS-10, http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...id-Helmet.aspx

It's pretty light, the padding is removable for cleaning, and it's fairly quiet.

I've had really good luck with Scorpion. Regardless of what anyone here recommends you need to find a shop with a big selection to try different ones on. What will fit one person really well will feel like crap to you.
