The (Evo)lution of my Sportster. Past to Present.
I'm making a huge thread here - start to finish of how my bike has evolved over the last 4 years. Everyday I will add new pictures at about 6pm central time. This should be a fun. The madness does come to an end and I've hit that check point, I promise. Enjoy....
The day my boss rode it home for me. It's a 2006 883C. Bought in 2008 with 3033 miles on it. I've never ridden a bike in my life, nor a 4-wheeler or anything of that sort. What was I doing!? It was a repo from the original owner. The 2nd owner, who was friends with my boss at the chevy dealership I worked at, asked if he could leave it in the showroom to sell it. The next day I bought it.
The bike sits in cold March weather in Coopersburg, PA. It's completely stock except for a set of cycle shack drag pipes.
I do a few simple mods. Clear blinkers, OEM solo seat and an LED rear brake lamp. As seen, I'm glad to have had a 2nd story apartment.
The stock color is called "dragonfly green". After seeing some Nightsters at the local dealer, I stay after work and hack 10" off the back fender with my air saw and install the run/turn/brake Nightster taillight module.

You wouldn't happen to have any other pictures with those drag bars on would you? Really want to get rid of my current bars for some drag bars but really want to get an idea of what it is going to look like.
