I have never owned a Sportster. I just don't like it when people put them down. If you have been riding since 62 you remember people calling them dirt bikes. I never considered a 1000cc motor as small. And I agree that the Sportster is what a motorcycle should be. I believe the Dyna line shares this trait with Sportsters.

My Dyna is not middle aged and out of it's prime with a beer belly.

Just yesterday the OP commented (while looking at my bike) how Dynas are just grown up Sportsters.
My post above was an attempt at humor, he shouldn't really have tried to kick her in the puss. He should have accidentally set her dress on fire. And then......well you know the rest.

I am a chick rider and the only times guys give me crap about riding a Sportster is when I am not on it and they can't see it...but when they see and hear it I get a whole different response...I have a 2011 Nightster ...I think so many riders ignore the Sportsters that when they really look at one they think it is pretty cool.

Oh man you had to mention depends .. first the tucks pads then the depends .. dammit! I hopped up a 94 883 hugger to 1200 and put a bunch of fancy buell race stuff on it . To this day its the fastest hair on fire bike i've had. My 2004 lowrider was close .. that bike had wings and flames. Oh for the days with less EPA crap . If anyone thinks sportsters arent bikes they have just never ridden one. I love my dyna but grew up on sportsters and had a blast doing it. I still hate baggers with a passion.
