Seriously... Harley has taken a lot of the best "mods" people have been doing and putting them in stock bikes. (makes sense it's free market research)

Having said that...

If that speedo relo doesn't make it into a production bike there is no justice in the world.

That's some dang fine work, Ergonight! Now, get out the dang hair dryer, put it to it, bolt that sucked up, and get riding! I've already got over 11,000 miles on you this season - remember why you own it! ;-)

Just finished all 94 pages of this thread. This is just as enjoyable as reading about a custom build in a magazine. GREAT work so far Ergon!!!! The only problem is, I expected to see a completed bike at the end... Guess I'll just need to be patient.

Thanks man. 94 pages. Damn! Never thought it would be this long. Course, I thought I'd be riding by now to. Patience, yes.

I just went through EVERY page and have a few questions about some of the mods.

1) How and what all did you use to get the welds on the back look so smooth and nice?

2) How did you clean the tank out after you cut it for the spedo? And were you able to make the button on the back of the spedo functional?

3) May I copy and possibly enhance the spedo tank idea?

Bike is going to look amazing when it is finished!! Wish I had a garage or even shed I could work on my bike in.

Hey Ergo, been following your thread for a long time from over here in Scotland, loving your work! I rattle canned my bike- I put a black base on the tank and then my mate put some custom art on it, man that was nerve shredding, waiting to see how it looked after the clear and polish. It looks like your patience has paid off big style, yours looks great. Looking forward to seeing the finished bike mate.
