Nightster Winter Makeover

Here's where we are. Drilled the ends of the grips and drilled out the hole in the bar end mirror to fit the signals.
Modified the internal throttle to accomodate the signals.
Still have to modify the clamps and levers but here's the left side mock up.
Right side is trickier due to the throttle, which isn't completed yet. Also, due to the 1 1/4" bars the stock master cylinder needed a lot of modification to fit right. That took some time. I'm still gonna chop a lot off both the right and left clamps and levers but the master cylinder fits now.
Working on running the wiring through the riser bolts...not easy. Grade 8 bolts are tough to drill through, even with all the right tools.
I also spent some time cleaning up the appearance of the wiring. Used the wire wrap that Midlife recommended. It wasn't easy due to all of the branches and brackets and such to work around. But it does look a lot better now.

Ergo- you mentioned at the beginning of this build that you had some help with planning converting the front end to wide glide. Care to elaborate a little? I would really like to widen the front end of my 08 nightster and add a wider wheel (just like yours, except without the rake). Any tips, info on parts, where to buy, etc., would be appreciated.
And I apologize if you already did this in the thread. If so, just say so and I'll dig more.
