Ya man, Oz made me take out the camera for that one. I'm kinda numb to the whole thing by now and just go with it, but he knew that pic would get a few people's attention.

"Progress is painfully slow..."

If ya ever get THAT bored with it, the 105's are always looking for targets.

BTW, thanks for your service - didn't realize I was speaking to a fellow jarhead.

Oh, I'm not ever bored with it, but I have been frustrated enough a few times that if we had a live fire range close by I'd have carted it down there and called the fire mission myself.

An incredible amount of work done with obvious expertise and passion - can't wait! ;-)

Thanks man. Much appreciated.

The only real downside to this project for me is that I'm working on my only bike. I started in October and expected to have it completed and running by now, but the scope of the makeover changed drastically from my original plan and added a lot of time to the build. That's probably not all that unusual for something like this. When you tear it completely to the bare frame there are inevitably gonna be new ideas, possibilities, unforeseen problems that lengthen the time necessary for completion. Therefore, if possible I suggest you do something like this on a second bike, not your primary. Otherwise, you might end up like me - going weeks and weeks watching other people cruise by the shop window enjoying their ride.

Aside from that it's been a lot of fun and I hope I can do this again on another bike.

I find that with everything I do, it evolves as I work on it. Im sure if I would have taken mine down as far as you did Id be in the same boat. Thankfully I have a little bit of self control where as you obviously have none But thats better for the rest of us
