Ergo - That speedo in the tank is by far the coolest mod I have ever seen on this forum or any other...perfect.

Thanks Virge. I made the decision not to use the trip meter. I never used it before now anyway. Didn't even realize it was there until several months after buying the bike and still never used it. I'll just set it on the regular odo and leave it there. That's all I need.

Thanks FI. Ya man, I'm just gonna set it on regular odo, seal it up and not use the button to flip between trip and regular odo. I never used it anyway. Might have to get rid of the button to make everything fit in the housing but I'm thinking the button will probably just sit below the speedo without having to disconnect it.

Thanks Rog. You are so right. It's a combination of skill, imagination and creativity. Some people just have it, and when you marry that up with a real passion for something the results are amazing.

BAD ***. I wondered how fill ups would be with having that fill hole / bar combo...looking forward to seeing the new bars.

The button will sit under the speedo after you remove the rubber button part, no prob. However, it is only 2 wires and if it were me, I would extend the wires on out with the main harness and hide that button somewhere under the tank...no reason to take options off the table for such a simple mod. Can't you also view DTC's using this switch if you know the secret squirrel process?
