How about a Sportstour?

sportser chick bike? WTF? I don't know who comes up with these ridiculous questions, but the sportster is for anyone looking for a kickass lightweight fast as hell good time. The reason some look down on the sporty is it's high center of gravity, and the counter steering associated with it. Don't be misled by "Big Bike" bias, a lot of riders just don't like the feel so they shun them unfairly, as a sportster rider and ex-fatoy owner "which I loved" I'm not so sure I can give it up. I love this bike and will defend it to the end. Customization is endless and like Ricky Bobby " I wanna go fast" Bring your big bike to the start line and let me show you what this girl bike can do!

Moz, when my wife and I stopped in at east Coast Harley in Dumfries, Va. to buy a bike I thought she should would want me to get the $6,900.00 littler one sitting by the door. I had my eye on a black and orange 1200R, when she saw the green one, that was the one she was having. She made the down payment and bought the Riders Essential kit, so what could I say. It serves me well and it gathers a crowd when I park at restaurants etc. This is it naked in the showroom.

Sportour..why not...
I have a 2006 Sportster 1200C all decked out for touring, and ride two up. All I can afford then but wanted a Harley no matter what. I learned a few things owning this bike and riding it. The boys with the big tanks get annoyed with you stopping twice as much as they do for gas but you still need to stop atleast every 100 to 120 miles to stretch out at least it has a 4.5 gal tank as apposed to 3.3 tanks most Sportys have. Riding for long periods does make your body sore, so I changed my rear shocks to 12.5' Dyna shocks from the 11" Sportster shocks. The seat that comes stock oh hell no, put a Sundowner tour seat and nice wide back rest with rack. Pegs under your feet nope, no good either your arch on your feet begin to hurt after a while, I added stirrups to the pegs. Night riding 5 1/2" light yea ok, I added 3" lamps like tour bikes have. Storage yes that important, I relocated my rear signals back to the plate so I can get the biggest saddles I can install with Ghost Brakets. Windshield a must have unless you want to eat bugs all day. GPS cradle from RAM Mount. What do you have after all this setup..a mini Road King...so yes an affordable Sportour like the Dyna Switchback would be nice for those who can't afford price tags at $16,000 just to get a few amenities.
