Where To Find New EFI Gas Tank???
So I am in the beginning stages of working on a paint job for the bike (2011 Sportie 48). I have been going back and forth with the idea of just painting the original parts over; but decided that it would be better to just buy a new tank and save the original parts. I have been having trouble finding new gas tanks, like OEM replacements for the EFI. Does anyone know where I can find one?? Thanks!!

I have the same question for a 2007 XL1200C. I have found paint sets that do it, but they are already painted and expensive. so I ask.. where do THEY get them from. They must either buy em new from Harley, or await a local parts shop to have the specific model available. I want the front and rear fenders too, in order to complete the bike and change the theme completely. I like my stock pinstripes, but I am looking for the parts to paint wile I continue to ride and I will install when my paint job is done. of course starting another paint job on the stocks that were removed.
otherwise..... have you checked JPcycles? I have not, cause I am looking for the set.

The obvious place for a new tank is your local friendly dealer. Last time I looked they can be bought in correect colour scheme or primer. However as already suggested you can find them, including secondhand ones, on ebay. I bought a 6 gallon dresser tank for 66 bucks! There are 460 Sporty tanks on Ebay at present.
