I thought I did too... It would have been nice if he was upfront, maybe he thought I knew or something but why would he , not like he ever mentioned it had been damaged that he repaired.. well its water under the bridge at this point .
its a good running bike rides great I will enjoy it for a year and sell it hopefully I will recoup most my dollars and move up the the nightster

I've had 3 prior salvage bikes, current one included. Never had a bit of problem getting rid of them. Granted, you don't get quite as much out of them but you also don't spend as much buying them either. Sounds to me like you got a great deal, even if the title is marked! You should have no problem getting your money back come springtime, there's always someone looking for an affordable Harley. But you definitely should have been told up front about the title by the seller!

Looks like a nice bike man, but I never buy anything with a Salvage title, well I maybe would if I got it still wrecked and had or did the work myself. I always ask when buying used if the vehicle has s salvage title and it it does I say thanks and move on. The guy should have told you the bike had a salvage title. For what you paid if you don't put much more money in it you should be able to break about even on it.

Well, even with the salvage title you didn't pay too much for the bike. You will likely get your money back easily. It also sounds like the damage to the bike was very minimal, so I wouldn't be affraid of it at all. As long as the frame is original and was not damaged, you're good.
Enjoy it for now & hopefully you will be able to sell it next year and get the Nightster you want.
I like all black, but the midnight pearl/silver Nightsters look sick! If I were to buy a new Sporty of any kind right now, that's what I would get....midnight/silver Nightster.

yes,, the Guy for sure should have told me straight Up that was wrong . other then that fact he really did seem like a nice person , I was in his house no where he lives ect ect,, told me to come back if I had a problem ..
at any rate ,, I got a chance to really go over the bike today I cant see a flaw any place,, there is a little rusty color on the inside of the springs where its hard to clean a scratch from a tool bag on the front fender .. no sings this thing was ever in a wreck thats for sure
thanks for all the replys , I do mean that but also
I feel better after reading some of the replys on here that I will be able to recover most all or all that I have in it , all I really plan on doing for this next season is a better seat ,, probaly a solo a good one I can find used on e bay , ad then I will just change this back and re sell the seat
as for the black and silver nightster,, that is just the sexiest dam bike ever made , they make my heart skip a beat every time I see one
