I found a local Hot Rod shop here that sells 50' rolls for $44, Ill be getting some Saturday.

I know that pep boys and some orilleys sell it as well don't know if you have that on the east coast

Or it just keeps the heat in the pipe to help with the flow of gases...


I've run DEI wrap on my cars as long as I can recall. It works good, though the nature of wrap brings another set of issues into play. Thermal barrier coatings work wonders as well, but are nowhere near as cheap.

Mostly appearance above anything else. Also helps to destroy pipes a bit early.

Personally, I put mine on because someone dropped my bike while trying to steal it so they scratched my chrome heatshields. Instead of replacing them I just took the shields off and wrapped the pipes.

Wouldn't really apply to stainless would it?
