Default What kind of bars on these?

Here are 3 photo's of my 1200 Custom XL I bought used from my local stealer last April.

People are always asking "what kind of bars are those", or, "what do you call those bars". I normally just respond with "mini apes"? I know the positioning of them looks kinda goofy, but when I bought the bike it is how they were set-up and I never changed it and got used to riding that way!

Am I correct, are they mini-apes???

Thanks.......

i would say that they are between 10"-12" so i would call them mini apes. those suckers look like they're pushed up a lot

Thanks guys. Yeah, the positioning of them are really forward and when I first bought the bike I thought they looked weird, a little "akward". It was always my intention to change them or at least bring them back a little, but I got used to the look and feel. I went on a big trip earlier this year averaging 250 miles a day for 4 straight days and had no back ache and the rest, so I thought best to not play around with them!

As long as you don't have back pains, then you are all good!

I would say 10" to 12" mini apes but they look odd sitting on the 4" to 6" risers!
I would loose the risers,put 1"-2" on!
