Default Brake Line Help 2010 Iron

Hi,
Next week I am having a shop install my RSD Clip-ons and gauge relocator on my 2010 Iron. I am trying to get all the parts for the install. Does anyone have any suggestions what size brake line I should get and the banjo fittings for the top and bottom. I did notice that Magnum has a BYO brake line kit for custom sizing. Also should any other cables be changed out for new ones.

Any other brands other than Magnum that I should be looking into.

Thanks.

I just put all new custom magnum black pearl's on my Iron (brake, clutch, throttle\idle).

I have narrow drags with 3.5" straight risers.

We went 4" short on the brake cable.

with clip-on's, would have to be at least 7-8" shorter than stock, I would think.

Here is a pic:

I made mine with -3an stainless line and the proper banjo fittings (i am not 100% sure what they are for your year) you can either use a clothing tape measure or a piece of string (and the lay it flat and measure it) to figure out how long you need

Thanks for the info. I'm going to call the shop and see if they will install everything first and then measure what we need so I can have Magnum make a new one. I do want the cleanest install possible. If they would prefer to finish everything same day, I'll order the BYO kit from Magnum to work temporarily while I have them make up a custom one in Black Pearl.

If your dealer is a Magnum partner, it's cheaper to have them order it.

HD gets a 33% disount from Magnum if they are a partner, unfortunately, they mark it back up about 25%. Still was cheaper for me to go through my dealer than order outright from Magnum.
