I live FL mate, unless I need to haul something or its stupid out I ride everyday........trying to understand how you wear a bushing out in two years on something that moves 120% 2X everytime you ride. Lighten up Francis not a personal attack

I live up north and I get more than 8000 miles a year and I have had no problem with my bushings. Maybe you need to lubricate them. Wouldn't hurt to put some spray graphite on them that way it won't collect dirt and wear them out.

I did lube them the last time i changed them . and give them an occaisonal spray lube after i wash the bike or it sits out in the weather for any length of time .

What happens when you notice they are wearing out? Sorry, I am having a hard time believing they are wearing out so fast. Unless you park in a sandy or dirty area or something.

You could try being less hostile when asking for help. Just a thought.

Try longer rides, fewer stops.

Seriously, does it move freely up & down? Is anything bent or in some way disfigured causing undo wear on the bushings? Gotta be something wierd going on.

hello thanks for the serious inquiry , it did move freely it was nice and tight after the last bushing replacement and has since gotten loose and flopping up and down and is drooping and dragging in the turns and i dont lean that much , last time the spring fell off . i ll be replacing the bushings soon (for $16.00)so i dont lose another spring. i dont see it as being bent or and apparent damage . so i dont know why its wearing out so soon.

Ummmm are you sure its not the spring that needs changing..........

The kick stand has play in it so its able to slip in the locked position when its down.

And if the spring is fine, did the tab get bent on either end of the spring causing it to act loose?
