Default Rough Idle... Help please?

I just bought my first Harley about 3 weeks ago, it's an '07 1200C. My problem is that it doesn't want to idle at all at startup, bottom end of each gear is extremely rough and choppy... Person I bought it from had Cycle Shack slip ons put on, but no high flow air cleaner or tuner, so I put the stock mufflers back on hoping that would solve it, but no luck. I checked dtc's today, and nothing came up, I checked all my electrical connections, and cleaned the air filter, throttle body and IAC and still didn't work. I'm going to siphon the tank dry in the morning and put some fresh high octane in. My father was telling me that the '07 sporties have fuel pump issues, and to replace the o-rings first.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm really frustrated with not being able to ride my bike. I'm obviously new to the forum, so even if there's info on this elsewhere, would somebody be able to send me in the right direction? Thanks in advance

how many miles on it? If the gas change doesn't work, i would replace spark plugs & wires, the wire set is only like $10 from the dealer.

then maybe replace your fuel filter, and check the lines to the tank.

Could be a faulty fuel pressure regulator (inside the tank on the fuel pump) I know they have been known to go bad. Does it rev up alright?

Might want to check for intake manifold leak also.

wonder if the previous owner tried backing out the Base Idle Screw to make it idle low?
Some think they sound better like that, will it Idle up and then fall then die at start-up?
If so the base idle setting may be to low letting the idle fall too far before the IAC can adapt, they
are not the fastest little electric motors you know....

With the age of the bike and the low miles, run a strong dose of Seafoam thru the tank. Helps clean out the fuel system.

That's how I found out my IAC on my Ford Ranger was bad.
