Default speedometer and riser swap / custom to my 883 ....?

I had an interest in a trade for 4-6" risers for my stock low risers.

My speedo is forward and his is towards the tank. Will my indicator plug fit?

Will this swap require and modifications or....

PLEASE HELP

The interest is not local so I cant just try it out and I want to be sure

I dislocated my shoulder 9 years ago and ut has never given any problems. till now, my forward controls and low bar are killing me. my arm and my back. So I need to get this fixed ASAP

Thanks

If I'm understanding yer ? Right yes u will be find at most u will need to bend brake line a little I relocated my speedo and put 7" frisco bars with 2"risers under my stock risers . U will need to lift tank and pull out extra length on wires maybe but it's simple(if I'm understanding correctly) also I'll trade u mids for yer forwards and throw in extra stuff

Thanks

I like my forwards but not how i have to lean so far for the bars.

I should have the extra wire under the tank? Im not so worried about the clutch and brake cables and hoses. Just worried about the indicator panel being the same size. I measured mine from center screw to center screw and its 2-7/8 inches

The indicator lights are kinda a PITA. They will work. but you will have to pull it all out, modify the bezel(there is a small tab on it for placement that will have to be cut off) the piece with the pictures has to be orientated correctly, the left and right indicator lights will have to be switched and re installed, the high beam and oil have to be put in the correct position as well.

OR you could buy the proper bezel and parts and just insert your existing indicator lights into it. That is the route I went. I broke the existing bezel getting it apart. I think all the parts cost about $30

Good luck,
John

BTW rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders here. 16" apes made all the difference in the world. I could ride all day, if my ***(sciatica) would let me!

Thanks man. I have no extra wire under my tank. I will have to trade the harnes too.

I like apes but i dont think 16" will go with the look im after. I would like an 8 or 10. these risers and my bars will be the same but a different look.
