here in new jersey the stickers used to get put on the forks,they changed it a while back and now they go on the license plate(way better)..alot of guys i know dont even bother with inspection..

 

Same here in Taxachusetts

 

When they put them on the fork a friend of mine would oil up his forks before inspection. The sticker would come right off. He would carry it with him and say it fell off if any one asked.

Now that sounds like a good idea to me. At least you have the sticker. Its not your fault the glue does not hold. HAHA

 

For the guys who have the plates for the stickers. Were did you get them from?

I'm 20 miles south of Albany, in NY and I have the inspection sticker plate mounted to the frame as described. I bought the biek form woodstock Harley and they put it on for me when I bought the bike, I think it cost $30. Kyrukan (spell) makes them. You can get them from JP cycles.

Went through a road block today and no probs

 

$100!!!!!! Dayum, in NYS it's a Ficket first then I think its only $35-$50. Hell unlicensed operation here is only a $10 fine. Ill put up with having to display my sticker.
