Default How many miles on your 1200?

How many miles on your 1200? I'm down sizing and looking at 04-08, 1200 Sportsters. All maintenance considered, What kind of longevity can expect to get before major engine work? Any problem year 04-08?

I searched but didn't find anything!

About 12K on my '08. Needed rocker cover gaskets a known issue and recently rear wheel bearings also apparently now an issue across the line.
Drive mine daily until the snow flies.

09 1200C just hit 15K. Not one issue with the bike, yet. Have heard the evo engines can last up to 100K if properly maintained.

True....it would be more use full to hear from those that have over 100K. .....Or those that have had them die earlier and why.

2005 with 12500 no issues yet. I just got it at the end of June and almost half those miles are mine, so it hasn't been babied.
