There is a killer deal for a set of python slip ons, but they are for a 2002, can anyone tell me if these will fit my 2000? Please let me know, Thanks!

 

nevermind, I guess the mounting bracket is different.....damn it...well there's a set of pythn slip ons on ebay for 15 bucks!

 

2000-2003 exhaust should be interchangeable

 

Are you sure? the slipons for the 2000 look like they are tabs, these look like they have two screws that bolt into a welded piece on the muffler?

 

they come with mounting brackets from python that adapt to the stock brackets...

buy them up and then call python and see if you can get a set of adapters

and from what the local chop says... python and vance and hines use the same mounting brackets....

so go for it

 

+1 on that, if worse comes to worse, you can bend and make some brackets out of flat stock, you wont ever see em being behind the pipe and all
