Default ebay exhaust

anyone try these? they are really cheap, 2" slash cut drag pipes....anyone ran them? whats the conclusion? I want to get these, but I dont know if they will blow my bike up.....aren't all straight pipes essentially the same? thanks in advance!

Cheap ebay exhausts often have fitment issues.

You will lose backpressure and experience a loss of low end torque (but maybe gain a few peak HP).

If you are carbed, your carb will need to be tuned, or you can run too lean.

My advice: Throw some cycle shack slip ons on the bike. It will sound AMAZING and you will keep your backpressure. For $150 its worth every penny.

thats true, but then I will have to run the stock header with that cross pipe which I really dislike....what is that cross pipe for anyhow? is it even functional?

I believe its to allow pressure to flow between the pipes, which greatly increases their performance.

True duals are a poor design in my opinion.

But don't take my word for it:

Unless you are prioritizing looks over performance, I highly suggest a good 2-1 like the one from RB racing, or Supertrapp, etc.... Great tone and killer power.

I run a set of those 60$ shipped eBay slip ons. Fit and Finish is good. Its been 6 months on mine and chrome looks good.
