I'm sure if I added an air cleaner I might get a little bump, and then with a proper custom dyno tune I'd get a serious bump, but for now its going to stay kinda stock-ish since I'm still under warranty.

The reason I asked is because though they sound good, I think they are bit too free flowing and my seat of the pants dyno said I lost a bit of low end-mid-range torque after I put them on.

I personally have not felt that at all, if anything the bike feels stronger...but that could be the ECU adjusting to the newly installed XIEDs....

I'm serious Vance and Hines, you had better go kidnap some of the guys over at Cycle Shack and force them to tell you their secrets, because I've run your loud, harsh, slappy exhaust systems before and clearly you need some new ideas.
You didn't say a word about performance, I found that those mufflers work better than 99% of the replacement pipes on the market.

How about a pic or 2 along with the Cycle Shack Part/Model Number?? Had Cycles Shack Slip ons on my Softail years ago....agree with your description 100%. Wish they made them for the Road King

Wife just got a new Iron 883....these would be perfect for her as she wants it "Loud."

If anyone is interested I'll sell my Rush Slip Ons. I went for the Short Shots but eh Rush actually sound better IMHO. PM me if interested. Sorry about hijacking the thread guys. They were on the bike about 6 months maybe and I have the 2" baffles that go with them if you want them. I just hate for them to sit when someone could be using them.

turn up your speakers these are the actual mufflers!:

I wanted this very set. I emailed them and they don't have any for the 2014 yet. I was pretty upset.
