Lol, glad you like them, my friend! They do sound awesome! Definitely post a video when you get some time, they have a tone all their own. Enjoy, and keep the shiny side up (well, what "shiny" there is on an Iron) and the rubber on the road!

Been running Cycle Shack slash cuts on my sporty for a couple of years.

Coincidentally Devin and I were working on a video a couple of days ago and took a decibel reading at 15 feet behind the bike at an idle. 105 db

Unfortunately we had to abort our videoing for the day...way too windy.

On another note...did you notice any performance change after the install of the Cycle Shacks?

Good thing you don't have a 1200, you might not be able to hear Gabriel's trumpet over the loud exhaust.

HOLY S#$T.

Seriously, I don't know if words can possibly convey how amazing these pipes sound. Its like if the Angel Gabriel himself was sitting on the back of your bike, using his golden trumpet as your exhaust, slaying all those before you with stock exhaust.

My god. Sweet zombie Jesus on fire. These pipes are incredible.

Ok, seriously Para...now tell us how you really feel.

Congrats man!

I just installed them on my N and my first impression was the same as yours. The deep, low-end rumble is freakin' awesome. Now that the initial high has worn off, I think they're a bit too loud, at least on the 1200. I've begun wearing earplugs just to avoid headaches after riding. I think I'm going to fit some Smartpartz baffles and see what that does. The Cycle Shacks are a great bang for the buck without a doubt though.

I have never heard the Cycle Shack slip on's but I hear good things about them-gald your happy. I had the newer SE slip on's and man did they suck! I like a bike loud and thet are not loud. I still have no idea how you guys have to wear ear plugs with slip on's? I have my Matrin Bros pipes with no baffles in them and it's not bad at IMO infact it's AWESOME sounding and makes the bike more fun to ride.

I put on a set of the Cycle Shacks on my 2002 1200--read and read here, and for once, think i made a great decision!
Man oh man for the price, dont think you can beat em--deep throaty sound, guaranteed to wake up my neighbor, maybe on the verge of obnoxious on the 1200, but hey, thats ok

I can't say I noticed any performance increase, but keep in mind that I just put on a set of XIEDs this saturday, so the bike feels kinda different all around.

I'm sure if I added an air cleaner I might get a little bump, and then with a proper custom dyno tune I'd get a serious bump, but for now its going to stay kinda stock-ish since I'm still under warranty.

I put a pair of Cycle Shack slip-ons on my 2005 XL1200R when it was only a few months old. Put about 5K on those slip-ons and they sounded SOOO much better than stock. I found at between 60-70 mph that they developed a harmonic that really bothered my ears. I wound up selling them and putting on the "old" SE II's with Big City Thunder Baffles and no harmonics at any speed that bother me now and a FANTASTIC sound!
