mix 1 part simple green with 3 parts water in a spray bottle. spray bike with water, use mixture, wash it all off. use a soft cloth to dry.

+1 on this....Or another one is Shout laundry detergent/softner that I use sometimes.

Simple Green was going to be my suggestion also. I seems to knock the greese, grime and dirt off without a lot of effort. It smells good too!
