Default Iron with PCV

Anyone install a PCV on their Iron? I am wondering if the PCV module fit on the bike without any modification and how the bike ran after the install.

If you are going to do the conversion and PCV install with out having it tune, the bike will run only as well as the pre-canned map that you are able to download.

Go through the list and try to find the closest map to your current setup and download it into your PCV. It may require tweaking to get the bike to run somewhat decent.

Talk to whomever is doing your conversion and find out all the facts from them. Make sure you tell them you aren't planning to have the bike tuned and that you want to ride. They may have some kind of setup for situations like that.

I'd still recommend waiting to do the conversion until you can afford getting it tuned. I had a canned map on my conversion because my dealer wouldn't tune the bike until I finished another 500 mile break in. The bike would pop, jerk, and was a complete hazard with that map. Took it back in and they made adjustments, again no change. I finally finished the 500 miles (the most miserable of my life) and had it tuned and all issues were gone.
