Got my breather bolts in the mail today and a few weeks ago I got the Buell carb support bracket. This weekend an oil change, and the rest will get swapped if everthing works out too.

I like the look of the tires on the bike. Matches everything well.

Now, why would you buy tires that have such a short lifespan?

My commute to work is only 20mi each way, and I ride to work maybe 2-3 days a week. I deploy, so there are lots of times the bike isn't ridden very much. Couple all that with my inability to stick to one idea/style for very long and if I get 3500-5000 miles out of them, or more, well then they will have done all I have asked of them.

Nice looking bike man! Love the front end and the tires really complement the look you've got going.

I have a question about the cornering and stability on the highway. Is the bike all over the place? I tend to drag my pegs and really hammer my bike around, yet I want a vintage looking tire.

I'm no knee dragger by any sense of the term but they feel comparable to the Dunlops that were on there before in cornering sense. Only in straight line do the seem to grab grooves a little bit easier.
