I'm looking to buy foreward controls for my 07 883r. Anyone have some they want to pawn off or know where I can get some decent ones(not at stealer prices)?

Just a thought...have you considered a good set of highway pegs and learning to shift with your heel for casual riding? It's easier than it might sound, and preserves your midmounts for more spirited riding situations. You can brake with your heel as well, if you make a lot of use of the rear.

 

I've considered it... but I really want the foreward controls because I'm 6'3" and my elbows actually touch my knees on the midmounts.

 

I just went for the highway peg forward mounts. Those freaking things are expensive and the pegs aren't included! They do add a great deal of comfort and you do have the option of mid control riding when you want too!

 

Yeah- I just went and mocked something up in the garage. I think Highway pegs are how I'm going to go. Thanks for the input.

 

try ebay... i got mine for 250 and they work great.
