Default Balancing

So I went down to a local shop to have my tires put on and they typically deal with KawaYamaSuzi bikes but put the tires on for me but when they went to balance the wheels the mechanic said the Harley conical bearings wouldn't sit right in the balancing machine (said the Jap bikes have sealed bearings with slightly different shape to them). Guy said I could either ride them the way the are (have the balancing weights on the spokes) or take it to a place that works on American bikes and have them balanced.

What should I do guys?
