I put it away in the winter but right now is the best. Bike runs great. I just put a sweater under my jacket and away I go. I have driven in the 40s but that is cold.
My bike likes teh cold more than I do LOL! I don't go out when it's in the 40's all that offten, but when i do the bike feels like it's making more power for sure. Like was said you might be on the verge of lean now and when the air is colder it is leaning it out. Plus 89 is not the bset fuel to run. I always run 93 in my bike.
i ride all winter here in PA. , and like others have said , my bike loves the cold , it seems to run stronger , i think its the cold dense air causes it to get more fuel and it run cooler cause of the temps and makes more power. but ive had no problems or issues. enjoy the ride.
