ok about 3 weeks ago i put 16innch apes on my nightster and bike was working perfect and out of no where go to start the bike and turns over for a second then ignition fuse blows (15 amp fues in fuse box) so i find it and change fuse and bike works perfect starts all day long(about 10-15 times) then i stop at watering hole after work and go to start bike and bam same thing turns over for a second and fuse blows, now it seems like i can start it 1 or 2 times then fuse blows. does this sound like wiring problem in the bars or is this related to another part failing?

 

Sounds like a wiring problem causing an electrical short, which blows your fuse. I would recheck all your connection/solder joints, however you did your wiring on the new bars.

Blowing fuses is a sign that something is very wrong...that fuse is preventing an electrical fire.

Address this issue before you ride the bike again.
