oil leak around clutch cable

oil leak around clutch cable
I went to get on my bike at lunch and noticed a small quarter sized oil spot under the primary area, rode home and looked where I park it in the garage & same spot there. After some investigation, discovered it was seeping from around the fitting where the clutch cable goes into the primary. I've noticed a tiny amount of oil there before, but not enough to drip or leak, but now it's seeping and leaking some. First thought is to check tightness, so got a 9/16" end wrench & was able to tighten it up a good half turn until it was really snug. It wasn't loose, but wasn't tight either.
Question is...is there an o-ring in there? Hopefully tightening it up solved the issue, but in case it didn't I'll have to drain the primary and remove the fitting and put some thread locker or lock-tight on it and just wondered if there was also an o-ring there that I should replace. Anyone else have or had this issue?
note: after riding back to work, looked and it was dry but need to ride it longer to be sure.

2 person job for minimal cost and yes there is an o ring.
person 1 tilts motorcycle to the right (as if sitting on bike) so no oil leaks out.
person 2 takes clutch cable off to include disconnecting it via primary inspection cover and replaces clutch cable o-ring. Put everything back together and high five person 1 after he places bike on kickstand.

I might add also, that it appears that it may be leaking around where the sheathing is crimped to the metal part, and not actually out of the fitting into the primary. I just read a couple articles on this and someone said that excessive vibration from the clutch handle going down the road can pulsate fluid up into the cable and cause this...ironically, mine clutch handle has started doing this within the last week. I may need to lighten my adjuster on my clutch cable to stop the handle from vibrating so bad. It's vibrating bad enough that it's annoying & not sure what could be causing it except it needs tightened OR it seems like the pin that holds the clutch lever may be worn excessively.
