spring seat ?
ok i have the stock nightster seat on my bike and thinking of doing spring seat, my ? is does it leave u in stock riding position or does it pull u back a lil like the mustang seats do or does it push u fowrd a lil?
and also how comfy is it if u put the struts in instead of shocks?

IMO, the springs lift the saddle too high and ruin the lines of the bike. Springs are more appropriate from an aesthetics standpoint on a hardtail that drops pretty quickly behind the tank. Your bike already has springs - the rear shocks, so why not install the solo saddle with simply some rubber bumpers and lay it right up against the frame? It looks great when done that way. There are lots of examples of that here on this forum for a bit of searching. (mine is done that way, too)

I've got the Burley 10.5" shocks on my bike, and had the seat on rubber bumpers.
Looked great.
But, since they don't really compress all that much, (Neither do the shocks..) after 2 days of riding my body told me to put springs on the seat.
My back loved me for it.
I have 3" springs on it now, but I don't like how high it makes the seat, I'm picking up some 2" ones next week.

Springer Seat
I've been wanting to put this seat on my Sportster as well, but was told it is not very comfortable (I have a Mustang double seat right now, and really want a single). I have my shocks all the way down so pot holes already jar my teeth, so I thought this would be the perfect seat. Perhaps the best thing is to see if the dealer has one in stock that they would let you/us try. I think they look really GREAT!
