Lowering. Like when you lower a car down into the weeds. The problem you run into with lowering, your cornering goes away and you start dragging parts.
That is exactly what it means. You do lose some lean angle but you don't really scrape all that much. If you wanted a corner carver you wouldn't buy a Custom you would get a roadster. I am very pleased with how the suspension is on my bike. The only thing I am going to change eventually is to goto a heavier weight fork oil. Low looks good in my book.
