So I took the Ironglide to Bean Blossum over the weekend. And a buddy says hey you should go put her in the bike contest. So I went and looked to see what all went on at these contest. Not a whole lot of sportsters (3) so I thought why not. So I'm filling out the card and under class the guy ask what I had. I said sportster. He says leave the class blank and they will fill it in. Now I'm not one for polishing when im at places like that. So I take her over to my spot, park her and set her I.D. Card in front of her and walk away. I come back alittle later to find out they don't have a sportster class and put her in the Street class with all the other bikes (streetglides, roadkings, ultras, ect.) alot of nice bikes by this time because what I didn't know was I got there at the very beginning. The Ironglide did a great job taking 2nd place I thought with all the really nice bikes there. It felt pretty good to know that my sporty has the looks to be compared to all the $20,000 dollar bikes.

Congrats to you! I put my Nightster in a show and it rained all the way there. I left it dirty while everyone else was hard at work polishing their chrome and stuff. The judges came by to well, judge the bike, and they stated that the first thing they look at is if it is a daily rider or not, well, I got 3rd in the sportster class against a chromed out Custom, a custom Jockey shift Sportster and an Iron.
