Cool Handlebars on my 48?!?!?!

So I have a 2011 48. I have ordered the 10" aped Z bars from Licks but they do not fit due to the integrated mount into the top triple tree. Any suggestions?? Does anyone know if there is a conversion to risers? I'm getting pretty frustrated and I would prefer not to have something fabricated. Let me know! Thanks!

I'm guessing you bought chubby 1 1/4" bars. I had a spacer made for mine. Other guys have lowered the forks in the trees a little. I've also been told the upper clamp off the new fat tire custom will swap out.

^^^yeah but even chubbies should be turned down to an inch at the mounting points for the clamp and controls right?

So the bars weren't chubby but like you said they would have been stepped from 1"1/4 to 1" by the mounting clamp and by the grips I'm going to post a pic or two of the mount

That cast POS top tree is one of the STUPIDEST things that H-D has done. It has been the limiting factor to many of my "first round of ideas" for personalization.

I have found two ways out that are viable (IMO), both of which cost more $ than I have to throw at it right now.

Po's48, do the bars just not fit in the clamps or are they hitting the top of the shocks? I installed drag bars on mine and ran into an issue with the bars hitting the top of the shock, had to loosen the pinch bolts and push she shocks down about 1/4".
