I just saw a MINT CB175 in front of my work last week. I see lots of 750's here and several 450's as well, but I haven't seen a CB175 in ages.
My first bike was a 1974 Honda QA50 that my brother and I shared. My little sportster gives me the same damn feeling as that 50 did when I was a kid, and they have about the same amount of power. That was funny dammit. I chose to get the 48 now and the 848 later, so I knew what I was getting into but the "Big" H-D's just don't do a damn thing for me. Age: 41 (which actually IS young).

Hey! I'm 53 years young and enjoy my sporty more than the bagger. Can, and do go all day on it.
Only reason I got a bagger is for long trips with the wife.

These are four of the bikes I've owned over the years, not the actual bikes but identical bikes. Number 1 is a 1948 125 Hummer I rode in 1952 when I was 10 it was my neighbors, number 2 is a 1957 165ST, it was preceded by a 1954 ST, I completely dismantled the 54 and painted it Farmall red with rattle cans at age 16. The 57 was in beautiful shape. 3rd is the first Harley I bought new, a 1962 175 Pacer, 4th is a 1973 MAICO 125 I owned and mosty trail rode. It was yellow.

At 63, I wouldn't trade my 1200R for any bagger. I have ridden a Sporty since 1964, and I still love them more than any other bike. The bigger bikes do ride better as far as comfort goes, but the thrill of riding just isn't there for me. I seldom travel more then 300 miles in a day, so the Sporty is plenty comfortable for me. As far as the wife going along, she has her own Sporty. She's too independent a soul to ride behind anyone.
We love our Sporties and will continue to ride them as long as we can hold them up.

The bigger bikes never did it for me either. Im positive they are much more comfortable and the bike and rider can go much further, hell I can only go 70 miles at a time. But my 48 definitely makes you RIDE it. If I want to DRIVE something in comfort and still have the openness and wind..........Ill take the convertible. Im 47.

Love the Sporty. I have tried larger bikes but the Sporty has that somethng that just makes me smile. Enjoy. I get told all the time by "friends"that have bigger bikes that I should move up but they just don't get it.
