well this has happend to me twice so not it's an issue
and here it's
a month ago on a 1000 mile trip or so, i stopped at a gas station and as usual there was an instant chat on bikes with the gas people and one of them said "that's a nice copy but this aint and harley" and was only persuaded if i showed him the registration.
and to days before i was at the liquor shop and passer by said "nice bike, but why did you fake a harley"

both pissed me in inside but i didn't lose my cool and treat them like weaklings without ever losing any elegance with a thin line.

they all think harley's should be big, chrome and fat and heavy and look that's ok because they're simply stupid and i respect stupid people because they're just stupid so any comment they make is ok.

but next time a guy tells me my bike is fake, i'l just put a hand grenade down his pants and watch him fall to pieces with a unmeaning-full smile.

and i'm glad it's only %2 of the population. which is pretty much below the average of stupidity and ignorance

yep : ) but in the end you get %98 of the population go berserk with the iron. they just love it and sound it makes. even the police. which although my bike is totally illegal in terms of sound, licence plate and etc stopped me just to say "hey man that's a nice bike and i love the licence plate is that out of the factory like that"
and i said "yes sir eeeh i fabricated it myself"
and he just said "it's cool!"

just a reminder the best selling bike in here is honda cbf 150. and the cops all have beemers or honda's.

Funny, here in the US so many call a sporty a starter bike or beginner Harley, Istanbul it's a fake Harley.

Tell ya what, almost anyone who has had a sporty and "stepped up" to a BT still misses their Sporty.

in here a bike is supposed to have all the chrome in and weight of the the world to be considered a harley.

i think the phrase "say hello to my little friend" is as persuasive at it can get : P
