Default Solo Seat vs. Spring Seat

Hey guys,

I want a new seat for my 02. Something very sleek that will make the lines of the bike flow well. I set my mind on the Bare Bones or a West Eagle spring seat.

What are the pros and cons of a solo seat vs. a spring seat?

Thanks for your input!

Do you have a hardtail, swingarm with shocks or swingarm with struts?

I really like the look of a spring seat mounted without the springs. Would not suggest it if you don't have rear suspension though.

Currently I have shocks with stock 2-up seat. I was thinking to get a spring seat without the springs and use rubber bushings like bmxatv.

I made bolt on mounts for my 93. This is with a LePera spring seat.

Aha I thought so. I'm thinking of putting a spring seat without the springs, on rubber bushings. Seems like a good compromise. I certainly don't want to seat higher, and I am looking for a clean look.
